Product Description
AnTec AP is an engineered and structured aluminum silicate featuring high performance. It has been dehydroxylated by controlled heat treatment for removal of crystalline-bound hydroxyl groups and to improve brightness. AnTec AP is highly pulverized for better dispersion and provides excellent opacity.
Application information
AnTec AP is designed for thermal paper, coated paper and other papers. It improves brightness, opacity, blister resistance and ink receptivity with minimal impact to sheet and print gloss. In paperboard applications, it can significantly extend TiO2, improve ink receptivity, glueability and help control binder migration. Compared to other products, AnTec AP has exceptional high shear rheology at high solids, which assists in raising coating color solids and reduces energy consumed during drying.
