Product introduction
AnTec C-98S S is an engineered grade featuring ultra-high brightness and ultra-fine PSD. It has been dehydroxylated by controlled heat treatment for removal of crystalline-bound hydroxyl groups and to improve brightness. AnTec C-98S kaolin is highly pulverized for better dispersion with very low residue.
Application information
AnTec C-98S works well as an extender to partially replace TiO2 and effectively reduce cost. It has the highest degree of whiteness and reflectance desired. Its fine-particle-size allows it to provide high opacity and tint strength. It has a bluer undertone, which gives very clean pastel colors and whiter whites. AnTec C-98S provides excellent optical properties for TiO2 extension in coatings. Typical applications: Water-borne and solvent-borne coatings, eggshell paint, semi-gloss paint and special paints.
